The Health and Environment Modeling (HEALMOD) Initiative at OSU

The HEALMOD initiative at OSU is a newly-established interdisciplinary community of scholars dedicated to convergence research in the areas of human health and environmental sustainability.

Co-administered by the Computational Epidemiology and Math/Statistics faculties at OSU’s College of Public Health, and the Anthropology and Sociology faculties focused on quantitative research, HEALMOD prioritizes quantitative analyses of eco-social determinants of health and coupled human-natural systems.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunities at HEALMOD

We are currently seeking candidates for 2-year postdoctoral fellowships. We particularly welcome applicants with backgrounds in computational social science, ecology, epidemiology, or applied math/statistics and statistics with experience using advanced mathematical and statistical methods to model and understand interactions between sociocultural, behavioral, physiological, and environmental determinants of health.
